About Our Family
I’m a descendant of Vicent Vecchio. He was born in Florence, Italy and immigrated to the South Texas Area around La Grulla, Texas in about 1865. He married Maria Esperidiona (Escobar)Dias. Together they had Vicnete, Jose Maria, Irene, Juanita, and Antonia.
Vicente’s second wife was Francisca Baladez and they had two children Francisco and Manuela.
My grandfather was Vicente and Francisca’s oldest son, Francisco Baladez Vecchio.
